May is just around the corner which means we are only a couple weeks away from the 2017 User Group. We are excited to catch up with everyone in Arizona! In the meantime, here is a recap of activities from the last quarter and what you can look forward to in the warmer months ahead.
Countdown to User Group
We’re heading to sunny Arizona for our annual TAI User Group from May 10-12, 2017. To help you prepare for this year’s meeting, we’ve put together a list of ‘Know Before You Go’ items. Be sure to check it out before heading to Arizona!
Updates from Across the Pond
Our Q1 Newsletter introduced you to Andy Hazell, who is working on expanding TAI into the EMEA region. Here are some highlights of his activities across the pond:
Life Insurance Forum
Earlier this month, Andy joined professionals from the European reinsurance industry at the Fleming Life Insurance Forum in Amsterdam. Several of the speakers spoke about developments in InsurTech and industry innovation including Simon Bell from LOGiQ3 Group. Simon shared insights on how co-creation and open collaboration can drive insurance innovation. You can learn more about the topic here.
Beer Meet ups in UK
Andy is excited to be hosting the first Beer Meetup in London this quarter. The evening will invite industry professionals to network and discuss current challenges while enjoying pool, darts and of course…beer!
Can your business benefit from electronic claims?
Last month, we shared how the TAIB300 (Claims Notices) Program provides a simple method of submitting claims electronically on the blog. It significantly reduces the time expended on this manual process while also mitigating the risk of data errors or inconsistencies. And the best part, shifting reinsurance claims submission to an electronic format benefits both ceding companies and reinsurers.
If you didn’t get the chance to learn about the benefits of electronic reinsurance claims, you can view the full blog here.
Introducing Business Reviews
This past quarter we had the chance to introduce TAI Business Reviews at ReFocus 2017. We place great emphasis on building relationships with our clients to understand their software usage and feedback on products. As we’ve shared before, this directly influences future releases of our software suite.
Introducing complimentary business reviews is the next natural step to further enhance these. Our goal is to gain perspective into any changes in business operations, reinsurance administration, and corporate, risk, and financial strategy of our client since the introduction of TAI into the organization. By understanding your business environment, we can further align the needs of our partners with the expanded product and services portfolio of TAI and our parent company LOGiQ3.
